Agewell Exercise Classes

Agewell runs a number of weekly exercise sessions for the Over 50s and less able of all ages. Sessions last for 1-2 hours to participate and are held at various community venues across Sandwell. Sessions have a chargeable fee. Online classes are also available Meet up with old friends and make new ones, make your heart stronger, maintain and protect healthy bones and improve your mobility.

Health and Well Being Day Care Service

We support individuals with long term conditions or continuing care needs to participate in activities that support their health and well being. Activities include arts and crafts bible study (optional), bingo, music workshops and extend gentle exercise classes. We organise exchange visits across the country and an annual holiday . People who use our services have a hot nutritious meal and participate in health workshops, information sessions and other projects. We also provide advice and guidance and in some situation provide advocacy to enable participants to access services that will support their health and well being. Costs are competitive and transport is provided via community transport or ring and ride. This service is particularly suitable to older people of African and Caribbean origin however we do have individuals from other cultural groups access our service. In terms of benchmarking quality, our service has achieved ISO 9001 Quality Mark, this is an International and national quality assurance award which demonstrates that we have robust governance and quality systems and procedures in place with our service.

Extend Gentle Exercise Classes

The aim of our service is to improve people's mobility so they can live more independently within our community.
