Sandwell Community Hubs directly manage Cradley Heath and Hurst Road Community Centres. SCH is also a collaborative of other Community Centres and organisations operating for the Community benefit throughout Sandwell. Cradley Heath Community Centre (Reddal Hill Road, B64 5JG; Tel 01384 636731): Opened in 1876 the site was a junior and infant school, until 1982 when the school closed down and adapted to become a Community Centre. Today Cradley Heath Community Centre hosts a variety of community-focused activities. Hurst Road Community Centre (Hurst Road, B67 6ND; Tel 0121 429 3399) Built in 1935 the building acted as a Church Hall and at wartime as a refuge during bombing raids. During the 1960's the building became a community facility and today hosts a number of activities.
