Offering a year round programme of garden based activities aimed at promoting healthy lifestyle, mental wellbeing, supporting confidence, healthy eating, physical activity, maintenance and rehabilitation to remain independent, or learn new skills on your journey to work. Therapeutic gardening, short courses, outreach sessions, gardening for those with long term conditions. supporting people on their journey to work or to connect with other keen gardeners for peer support and social connections. Based at the Independent Living Centre as well as in the community at a setting of your choice.

Staff qualifications The Service meets Matrix accreditation and IS0 9001 Quality Standards. All garden sites are led by our qualified and experienced therapeutic horticultural health and wellbeing team

About the organisation

Ideal for All is a user-led organisation set up in 1996. It provides services to disabled, disadvantaged and elderly residents of Sandwell, to enhance skills, provide a route to employment, reduce social isolation and maintain independence. The Services are designed to provide solutions for Independent Living and are offered from the Independent Living Centre, a fully accessible building, situated at 100 Oldbury Road, Smethwick.
