Included in the virtual offer is, daily content posted onto the Go Play Sandwell social media pages. This consists of themed play video activities such as ‘Munch Mondays’ and ‘Travel Tuesdays’ and are suitable for children 5+ to follow. The videos get posted daily at 5:00 pm on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter (@goplaysandwell). Additionally, play resources get posted on social media at 1:00pm. The play resources include crafts, quizzes and games for families to have a go at, in their own time. These can also be found on the Goplaysandwell.co.uk website, where you can also book onto the free Zoom Go Play sessions. In the lead up to Christmas, the Go Play team are delivering exciting Winter Wonderland Zoom sessions from 21st-23rd December. These sessions are going to be Christmas/winter themed and consist of a variety of activities. There are limited spaces available so it’s important to book online no later than 24 hours prior to the sessions.

Powered by CAN is a charitable organisation of educational, personal development and training workshops that prepare young people and adults for real life, but also to cultivate and nurture people to become self-independent and leaders within the community. Powered by CAN aims to work with the local community and young people within Sandwell and Black Country to build a stronger future by raising esteem, resilience by offering creative opportunities in arts, sports, mentoring, educational projects, after school clubs, school holidays activities and residential events all aimed at to bring a community together.
