About the organisation

Breakthru CIC works with communities, individuals and statutory organisations across the West Midlands. Its mission is to create new ideas and projects, promote equal opportunities and better futures for all, especially those most left behind. Using extensive community experience and a focus on results, breakthru’s work covers several broad areas including: Bringing communities together Encouraging wellbeing both mentally and physically Assisting under-represented communities Educating residents to be effective decision makers. Ensuring that neighbourhoods become places where all families thrive and have access to the support services and opportunities they need. The projects within breakthru CIC offer opportunities for people to take part in a range of therapeutic and stimulating activities tailored to individual needs. They are run by breakthru staff with the help of enthusiastic and skilled volunteers, which take place in a variety of community settings, helping integrate the local community into the activities we offer. We work alongside a number of external partners, including health, social care and the voluntary sector to provide an holistic service to clients and families within our communities. Our projects: Aman Group - improving the quality of life of South Asian women who have little or no social interaction, improving their holistic look at wellbeing, mentally and physically. Beyond Blue - talking therapy and integrative counselling
