We support individuals with long term conditions or continuing care needs to participate in activities that support their health and well being. Activities include arts and crafts bible study (optional), bingo, music workshops and extend gentle exercise classes. We organise exchange visits across the country and an annual holiday . People who use our services have a hot nutritious meal and participate in health workshops, information sessions and other projects. We also provide advice and guidance and in some situation provide advocacy to enable participants to access services that will support their health and well being. Costs are competitive and transport is provided via community transport or ring and ride. This service is particularly suitable to older people of African and Caribbean origin however we do have individuals from other cultural groups access our service. In terms of benchmarking quality, our service has achieved ISO 9001 Quality Mark, this is an International and national quality assurance award which demonstrates that we have robust governance and quality systems and procedures in place with our service.
