Up to eight sessions of counselling for people aged 16 and older from an African, Caribbean, Dual heritage background and the wider community recovering from functional mental ill health and carers.
Staff qualifications | Staff have relevant qualifications to deliver services. The Counsellor is accredited with the British Association of Counselling and Psycotherapy (BACP). |

About the organisation
Sandwell African Caribbean Mental Health Foundation (SACMHF) is a registered charity, established in 1994, which provides a range of culturally sensitive services predominantly but not exclusively for around 700 Black African AND Caribbean people recovering from functional mental illness, their families, carers, and the wider community a year. Specific services include counselling, support groups and wider wellbeing workshops and activities including bereavement support, youth work and outreach services.
