Culturally responsive Outreach service for African, Caribbean, Dual Heritage and the wider community who are 16 or older and recovering from functional mental health and their families. Provision of practical support to improve life skills, access individual budgets, attend reviews and medical appointments and signposting.

Staff qualifications Staff qualified to deliver services. Fluent French speaking Support Worker.

About the organisation

Sandwell African Caribbean Mental Health Foundation (SACMHF) is a registered charity, established in 1994, which provides a range of culturally sensitive services predominantly but not exclusively for around 700 Black African AND Caribbean people recovering from functional mental illness, their families, carers, and the wider community a year. Specific services include counselling, support groups and wider wellbeing workshops and activities including bereavement support, youth work and outreach services.
