Our team of dedicated staff and volunteers provide free, confidential, and independent information on a wide range of subjects including: Welfare benefits Consumer problems and rights Housing options Health Care at home Residential care Family and personal matters Accessing local services We can also help complete forms (e.g. Blue Badge, Housing/Council Tax Support etc.), make telephone calls and write letters if needed. We also refer to other appropriate services for support. The service can be accessed by Drop-in Sessions at Wesley Church, 291 High Street, West Bromwich B70 8ND on Mondays, 10 am to 1 pm; via telephone 0121 437 0479 or by email at info@ageuksandwell.org.uk. Home visits may be available to those who qualify. #SAPN

About the organisation
Age UK Sandwell is a trusted independent charity operating under the well-regarded Age UK brand. Our services are designed to meet the specific needs of people aged 50+ living in the six towns of Sandwell. We offer a comprehensive range of support, including: • Information and Advice • Support for those living with dementia and their carers • Social Groups • Physical activities and exercise groups • A Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney Service. • Computer Clubs to help people become more digitally confident We also offer: • talks in the community to target key health issues • hold events and activities to raise awareness of health campaigns and local health initiatives • develop and maintain partnerships with other voluntary and statutory organisations to ensure services are developed and promoted in co-ordination. Age UK Sandwell relies on the support of dedicated volunteers to help deliver our services.
