SPDC offer an Adaptive Sports Club for disabled children and young people, their siblings and parents/carers. Children have access to a range of facilities including a therapy pool, soft gym, sensory room and garden, sports pitches and a wide variety of adapted activity and play equipment. Sports and activities include football, basketball, swimming, table tennis and team games. We also offer children new experiences such as archery, trampoline, street dance and cheerleading. SPDC also offer short 6-8 week taster experiences in activities such as dance and performance, trampoline and athletics. Weekend and holiday activities may include vigorboarding, GPS orienteering, climbing, abseiling etc #SEND
Staff qualifications | All staff are subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check. Lifeguards have appropriate qualifications as well as undergoing regular training updates in accordance with regulations. Session coordinators hold the St John Ambulance First Aid at Work accreditation. |
