Jump in and get muddy. Scouts ignore the butterflies and go for it, and soon so will you. Scouts is great at building young people’s confidence and providing them skills which will benefit them for the rest of their life. Here at the 20th we love an adventure! We get stuck in with traditional scouting skills and gaining a wide variety of awards and badges. We also do loads of amazing activities, climbing, hiking, archery, pioneering, coasteering, caving, surfing and much more. We also become expert campers and learn to light and cook on fires and survive in the wild! During the year we run two or three camps, the highlight of which is our week long summer camp held somewhere as remote as possible – a field with a pretty view usually!

Staff qualifications Our adult volunteers have training in First Aid, Safeguarding and Safety which is renewed every 3 years. Volunteers are also subject to Disclosure & Barring Service.
