Develop new skills. Soar to great heights. Being a Cub opens up a whole other world. The Cub section is for boys and girls aged between eight and ten years old. Cubs are split into smaller groups called sixes and take part in a wide range of interesting and challenging activities. A Cub pack meeting consists of games and activities with plenty of time spent outdoors. There are loads of fun and challenging things that you can do as a cub scout. You will get a chance to try lots of different activities like craft, science experiments, climbing, fire lighting, toasting marshmallows and playing lots of games. This all goes towards earning Cub Scout badges. Cubs also get to go on trips and days out to the zoo, theme parks, farms and other interesting places and fun places. Cubs camp with the rest of their pack, sleeping in tents and spending the day doing loads of challenging outdoor activities and games.

Staff qualifications Our adult volunteers have training in First Aid, Safeguarding and Safety which is renewed every 3 years. Volunteers are also subject to Disclosure & Barring Service.
