Try new things. Make new friends. Joining Beavers is just the beginning of your big adventure. Beavers is the second youngest section of the Scouting family. The Beaver colony is made up of boys and girls aged between six and eight years old. Beavers at the 20th meet each week at our headquarters. They get involved in a varied programme of activities, games and crafts including painting, drawing, cooking – all providing ample opportunity to let off steam, learn new skills, make new friends and have loads of fun! Beavers can also obtain a variety of awards and badges such and the colony often takes part in sleepovers in exciting places like the tunnel of the Sealife Centre in Birmingham or even a zoo!

Staff qualifications Our adult volunteers have training in First Aid, Safeguarding and Safety which is renewed every 3 years. Volunteers are also subject to Disclosure & Barring Service.
