Falling can be frightening and may lead to injury and reduced confidence. We offer a 12-week safe exercise programme at community venues across Sandwell to improve mobility, balance and strength. If you cannot attend, a home exercise workbook is available. The service also provides information, advice and guidance on preventing falls and maintaining independence, and can refer you to additional community support if needed. Eligibility: Aged 50+, a Sandwell resident or registered with a Sandwell GP. You must meet at least one of the following: fear of falling, feeling unstable, history of falls, or low bone density/family history of osteoporotic fracture. You must be able to stand and move independently (with or without an aid).
