Starting Well - Maternity Support Service

Starting Well is a new maternity support service, aimed at providing guidance and support to expectant and new moms or with children aged up to two-and-a-half years old, living within Sandwell or Ladywood. The service not only offers a range of face to face and virtual group sessions where new mums can meet up in different locations across Sandwell and Ladywood, but there are also a team of trained Maternity Navigators to offer one to one support in breastfeeding, advice if you have financial difficulties, or are trying to quit smoking, or simply guide you on where to get help whilst you are pregnant. The Maternity Navigators are also there to talk to you if you’re feeling alone or isolated. About the organisation

Murray Hall Community Trust is a registered charity set up as part of the Governments City Challenge Regeneration Programme in July 1994. Support include domestic care, respite care, information, advocacy, counselling, complementary therapy, volunteer befrienders and volunteer transport.
